For homeowners: five steps to a finished job
Posting and asking questions is free. To send your request to the professionals you pay €39 upfront: refunded if fewer than three quotes come in, deducted from the quote you choose.
- 1
Describe the job
Type a few sentences, upload photos or just talk. The assistant sorts the job into the right category and asks the questions a professional would ask: surface, materials, access, timing.
Result: a clear summary that every professional receives in the same form.
- 2
Get matched
We match on category, service area (municipality or postcode) and availability. Only professionals whose company number and VAT number have been verified receive your request.
Your address is never shown on the map; professionals see the municipality, nothing more.
- 3
Compare quotes
Quotes arrive in your dashboard with the total including VAT and the platform contribution. Ask follow-up questions in the chat and plan a site visit if needed.
No obligation: you can leave a request open or close it at any time.
- 4
Accept and let the work happen
Accept the quote you prefer. You then agree the start date and the payment directly with the professional, who invoices you. Appointments, messages and documents stay in one place.
The professional sees that payment is secured and can plan with confidence.
- 5
Pay the invoice and review
When the work is done you pay the professional on their invoice. If something is not right, open a dispute from the job page and tamam.be mediates.
Once the job is awarded you can leave a review; only customers who hired the professional can.
For professionals: no leads to buy, only work that pays
Registering is free. You pay per completed job: no subscription, no cost per request.
- 01
Create your profile
Company name, KBO/CBE number, specialities, service area and languages. Takes about ten minutes; you can finish it later from the dashboard.
- 02
Get verified
We check your company number against the official register and your VAT number via VIES. The verification dates appear on your public profile, so customers can see they are dealing with a real business.
- 03
Receive matching requests
Requests that fit your categories and service area land in your dashboard with a structured summary, photos and the customer's preferred timing.
- 04
Send your quote
Build the quote in the platform; the contribution and the capped success fee are calculated and shown to the customer upfront, so there are no surprises for either side.
- 05
Do the job, get paid
As soon as the customer accepts your quote, you agree the start date and the payment directly with them and invoice them with your own software.
After you accept a quote
The part people ask about most, in order.
- 1
You accept a quote
The job is awarded to the professional. You agree the start date and the payment directly with them.
- 2
The professional marks the job complete
You get a notification as soon as the professional is finished.
- 3
You pay the invoice
You pay the professional directly, on their invoice and the terms in their quote.
- 4
You leave a review
Once the job is awarded you can review the professional, and they can review you.
- !
Or you open a dispute
tamam.be mediates between you and the professional. The payment itself runs directly between the two of you.
What holds it together
- Mediation if something goes wrong
- If the work does not match the quote, open a dispute from the job page and tamam.be mediates between you and the professional.
- KBO and VIES verified
- Every professional is checked against the official registers; dates shown on the profile.
- Mediation when something goes wrong
- Open a dispute and the amount stays put while we mediate. There is no deadline on your report.
- Documents encrypted
- Extracts, insurance certificates and quotes are stored encrypted at rest.
- Municipality, not doorstep
- The map places professionals at their municipality centre, never at their home address.
- Seven languages
- Dutch, French, German, English, Turkish, Russian and Polish, for both sides of the job.
